Introducing Pippy!

Dovepoint Education specialises in conducting mathematics assessments in primary schools. They approached Sophie to create a comprehensive series of illustrations featuring Pippy, a friendly character designed to engage and assist children during their assessments.

Pippy's design evolved from discussions with Joanne, the client. All illustrations were digitally created with a simple, clean outline, making them easily reproducible in a bustling school environment.

"Pippy's cheerful personality brings the questions to life as he zooms around in cars and trucks, glides on a skateboard, explores underwater as a scuba diver, and even helps himself to sweets from a jar! These assessments serve a diagnostic purpose, providing schools with valuable insights into their students' math skills.
