A Brilliantly Busy Day at the First Mersey Makers Market!

On Thursday, 20th March, I had the absolute pleasure of taking part in the very first Mersey Makers Market at St Paul’s Square, Liverpool—and what a fantastic day it was!

The sun shone, the gazebos stayed put (phew!), and the crowds came out in force to support this brand-new market festival hosted by Bruntwood SciTech. With 20 talented makers, artists, and traders bringing their best work to the heart of the city, there was a real buzz of creativity and community throughout the day.

A Day Full of Creativity & Community

Visitors browsed an incredible selection of handmade ceramics, jewellery, original art, eco-friendly homeware, artisan food, and more while enjoying live entertainment and interactive workshops inside The Plaza building. From hand-poured candles to independent coffee and even VR simulator experiences, there was truly something for everyone.

I was delighted to meet so many friendly faces—both familiar and new—and to share my bold, joyful artwork with a whole new audience. A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by my stall, chatted about my work, picked up a print, pin badge, or sticker, and followed along online. Your support means the world!

More Markets & Pop-Ups to Come!

This market was such a brilliant way to kick off spring 2025, and I’m already looking forward to doing more events throughout the year. If you know of any local markets or pop-ups you’d love to see me at, drop me a message—I’d love to hear your suggestions!

Thanks again to Bruntwood SciTech, the organisers, and all the wonderful traders who made this such a fantastic day. If you missed this one, don’t worry—there’ll be plenty more chances to catch me at markets soon.

Stay tuned for updates, and see you at the next one!
