Rhino Mania auction raises over £100,000 for charity!

Sophie had three designs selected for the final stages of Rhino Mania and was delighted to have had one design; 'Handle with Care' sponsored by Northgate Development.

The 70 finished Rhinos were on the streets of Chester from the 5th July till the 12th September. ‘Handle with Care’ could be found on Northgate Street, near the city walls.

Many of the Rhinos, including 'Handle with Care' were auctioned at Chester Racecourse on Tuesday 5th October raising a total of over £100,000! 'Handle with Care' raised £1200.

75% of the proceeds are to be given to Chester Zoo’s Black Rhino Field Conservation Project in Kenya and Tanzania, the Hospice of the Good Shepherd and a small number of other selected charities.
